• Analog Coffee- Reva’s favorite coffee shop, also has an attached breakfast restaurant called B~Side which has great grain bowls and breakfast sandwiches. 
• Porchlight Coffee- Probably Reva’s 2nd favorite coffee shop- a Capitol Hill institution. 
• Push/Pull on Union- Seattle outpost of a Portland roaster.
• URL Coffee- A great coffee shop near our wedding venue.
• Hello Em Coffee & Roastery- Creative Vietnamese coffee and breakfast banh mi in the International District. Same owners as Pho Bac Sup Shop.
• Elm Coffee- A nice place for coffee in Pioneer Square/Downtown Seattle. 
Pastries & Coffee
• Temple Pastries- Some of the best pastries in Seattle, great coffee too. 
• Saint Bread- Amazing baked goods and hot breakfast items overlooking Lake Union. If you go for lunch don’t miss their smash burger! 
• Seawolf Bakery- Beautiful breads and great pastries, a lot of local restaurants get their bread from Seawolf.
• Columbia City Bakery- Our local bakery, another place with great bread and solid pastries.
• Fuji Bakery (multiple locations)- Shokupan, souffle cakes, and pastries with a Japanese influence. 
Breakfast-ish
• B~Side Foods- One of Reva’s favorites for breakfast- get the grain bowl, or the breakfast sandwich with mushrooms and pickled veggies. 
• Pancake Chef- Our favorite diner breakfast, located near the airport in SeaTac.
• Geraldines- A sweet diner in our neighborhood, Columbia City. 
• Mt. Bagel- The absolute best bagels in Seattle! Located near Capitol Hill. 
• Hey Bagel- Probably the 2nd best bagels in Seattle, this shop opened last year in the University Village shopping area. 
• Oxbow Bakery- Baked goods, pizza, coffee, and more. A great stop while walking around the Arboretum and Montlake. 
• Volunteer Park Cafe & Pantry- Breakfast-y items and coffee in a cute neighborhood location. Great as a stop before walking around Volunteer Park. 
• Bens Bread- tasty bread and pastries in north Seattle. 
Lunch-ish/Casual Dinner
• Post Alley Pizza- great slices and hoagies, near Pike Place Market.
• Tacos Chukis (multiple locations)- 
• Carmelos (multiple locations)-
• Lorettas- the best burger in Seattle! In a dive bar in the South Park neighborhood. 
• Pho Bac Sup Shop/The Boat- Two restaurants in the same parking lot- pho (Sup Shop) and chicken rice (The Boat) owned by a multi-generational Seattle Vietnamese-American family. 
• Moto Pizza- Detroit-style pan pizza with some Filipino-influenced flavors
• Sankaku Cafe & Onigiri- simple, lovely Japanese onigiri and bentos in the Melrose Market space. A nice quick lunch stop while shopping on Capitol Hill.
• Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar- multiple locations, one is located next door to Melrose Market on Capitol Hill. Oysters and some other seafood options- great for a quick happy hour. 
• Layers Greenlake- Great sandwiches!
• Voi Cà Phê- High quality banh mi and coffee in Georgetown. 
Dinner, by area

Capitol Hill, Downtown & Central District-
• Le Pichet- French bistro classics in the heart of downtown Seattle. Roast chicken and the salade vert are a must!
• Cafe Suliman- Middle Eastern food and natural wine at a cool and cozy spot in Melrose Market. Get the lamb hummus!
• Cornelly- Pasta and pizza restaurant with outdoor seating on a cute neighborhood street on Capitol Hill.
• Stateside- Tasty Vietnamese food in a nice setting, also has a bar next door (Foreign National) which is very vibey for cocktails. 
• Bateau- A Renee Erickson restaurant group location, for a fancy dry aged steakhouse dinner with a lovely interior. If you don’t want a steak, the Bateau burger is legendary! (and also served at Boat Bar next door)
• M Bar- Rooftop hip Lebanese restaurant in South Lake Union with great sunset views of the city.
• LTD Sushi- if you can get a reservation, this sushi tasting menu is the best in the city. 
• L’Oursin- One of our regular stops for French and PNW inspired cuisine, and near our wedding venue! Amazing cocktails and good wine list if you fancy just stopping for a drink at their bar. 
• Bar Bayonne- L’Oursin’s all day cafe next door to their main location, serving drinks and small bites. 
• Reckless Noodle House- Creative and delicious Vietnamese-ish food in the Central District. 
International District
• Maneki- Seattle’s oldest Japanese restaurant, and one of our favorites. Has a lot of charm and character.
• Chengdu Taste- Seattle location of an LA-based Szechuan restaurant. Yummy and spicy!
Central-ish 
• Sushi Kappo Tamura- Reva’s favorite sushi restaurant for a special meal, located in Eastlake. 
• The Independent Pizzeria- Takeout only, a longstanding favorite. Get the clam pie and eat it at Madison Beach Park!
• Canlis- For the fanciest meal you can get in Seattle- no jeans allowed! Tasting menu in a beautiful mid-century setting (the restaurant has been open since the 1950s) with a great view and fantastic service. 
North
• Paju- For a modern Korean meal in Queen Anne.
• Kamonegi- Simple and thoughtfully made soba noodle restaurant in Wallingford.
• Made in House- High quality and nutritious Korean food in Fremont.
• Hamdi- Modern Turkish steakhouse-ish.
• Cafe Munir- A classic Lebanese restaurant beloved by Seattelites. 
• The Walrus & The Carpenter- Trendy seafood restaurant on the water, with a focus on oysters. Operated by the Renee Erickson restaurant group.
• Delancey- A crowd favorite and Seattle institution for upscale pizza, located in the Ballard neighborhood. 
• Pancita- Creative Mexican food- excellent (fancy) tacos and tostadas!
South
• The Corson Building- Farm to table dinner in a beautiful historic house and garden. 
• Bar del Corso- Rustic-cozy neighborhood spot in Beacon Hill for Italian food and pizza.
• Musang- An excellent restaurant if you want to try Filipino food, on Beacon Hill. 
• Tomo- For a nice night out, in South Park. Tomo was opened by the former chef at Canlis (a Seattle fine dining establishment), and has a menu of PNW and Japanese-inspired dishes. Hit the Southgate Roller Rink after for a real high-low evening. 
• Mashiko Japanese Restaurant- Nadim’s favorite sushi restaurant and a great reason to go to West Seattle- the menu is all sustainable seafood! 
• Harry’s Beach House- American classics in a hip setting, right across the street from Alki Beach in West Seattle. 
• Renton Bistro- A bit of a trek in Renton, but excellent (and popular) Vietnamese spot that we go to regularly. Get the chicken rice! 
• Crawfish King- Eat a mountain of Viet-cajun crawfish in South Park! 
Dessert
• Frankie & Jo’s- Plant-based ice cream shop with creative flavors. 
• Hellenika- Cultured cream frozen custard, located in Pike Place Market. The owners also make Ellenos, which is probably my favorite (decadent) yogurt. 
• Hood Famous- Desserts with Filipino flavors (Ube cheesecake!).
• Deep Sea Sugar and Salt- Delicious whole cakes and slices in Georgetown.
• Milk Drunk- Soft serve (and fried chicken sandwiches) in Beacon Hill. 
Wine
• Otherworld- Our favorite natural wine bar and bottle shop, owned and operated by friends. 
• Little Thing Wine- Another sweet wine bar operated by our friend Dylan. 
• Left Bank- A natural wine bar and bottle shop in south Seattle.
• Le Caviste- Wine bar downtown with Frenchy vibes and bites.
• DeLaurenti- Bottle shop with a great natural wine selection, in Pike Place Market. Also a great stop for snacks (best imported cheese selection on the West Coast!) and gifty food items (jam, etc). 
Cocktails
• Foreign National- Cocktail bar next to Vietnamese restaurant Stateside, has a giant disco ball and moody vibe for a date night. 
• Damn the Weather- Cocktail bar in Pioneer Square, has a great burger!
• Bad Bishop- Another nice cocktail bar in Pioneer Square/Downtown. 
• Rob Roy- Great place for cocktails in Belltown. At Christmas they turn into a holiday themed bar. 
• Bathtub Gin & Co- Speakeasy cocktail bar in Belltown/Downtown. 
• Persephone- Cute spot for cocktails in Columbia City, with a focus on amaro. 
• Phocific Standard Time- Cocktail bar by the Pho Bac owners. 
• L’Oursin- Great for dinner, just as great for cocktails. Their specialty cocktail menu changes seasonally and is always excellent. 
Dive Bars-ish
• Bait Shop- Slushy tiki cocktails and bar food on Capitol Hill. 
• Good Shape Pizza/Jupiter Arcade Bar- Delicious pizza by our friends, and classic arcade games. Play Black Emperor and (the game) Ice Cold Beer! 
• Dino’s Tomato Pie- Great pizza on Capitol Hill (same owners as Delancey)- get the square pie if you can. Slushy cocktails and negronis on tap.
• Montana- An old haunt of Reva’s on Capitol Hill- moscow mules and fernet on tap. 
Beer
• Holy Mountain- In the industrial Interbay area next to the train tracks, they make a range of beer styles including oak-aged ales and beers incorporating local fruit. 
• Stumbling Monk- A lowkey bar in the heart of Capitol Hill specializing in Belgian beers, will often have some special stuff.
• Fair Isle Brewing- Brewery in the Ballard neighborhood, farmhouse beers made with wild yeast, using malt, hops and fruit grown in the region. 
• Chucks Hop Shop (multiple locations)- A wide range of draft and bottled beers, as well as some natural wines. Great for kids/dogs, and has different food trucks outside each day. 
Food Items
• DeLaurenti- Great place to shop for cheeses, natural wine, olive oil, tinned fish, jam, and more. Great for gifts! A wide selection of European imports and local producers.
• Big Johns PFI- more of a wholesale vibe than DeLaurenti, but an equally excellent cheese selection. Also has dry goods, tinned/canned goods, amaros, etc. 
• Beast and Cleaver- An excellent butcher shop in Ballard. They also operate as a restaurant a couple of days a week. 
• Rain Shadow Meats- Another great butcher shop in Melrose Market on Capitol Hill. 
• Taylor Shellfish (multiple locations)- Oysters and shellfish available to-go. You can also order shellfish to eat in with a glass of wine- great for happy hour. 
Classic Seattle food establishments
• Dick’s Drive-In (multiple locations)- longstanding late-night burger joint, always busy after bars close.  
• Ivar’s Fish & Chips (multiple locations)- If you want a classic fish and chips moment, Ivars is the place to go. 
• Ezell’s Famous Chicken (multiple locations)- Chicken shop that has been open since the 1980s. Oprah has said that it’s her favorite fried chicken!
• Linda’s- Linda Dershang opened this bar in the 90s, and it was apparently a regular stop for Kurt Cobain.

Shopping
Windthrow- an outdoor store owned by our friend Nate with unique items. You won’t find this stuff at REI!
• Faris- Beautiful jewelry store by a local designer, Reva is a big fan of these pieces.
• Glasswing- Clothing, plants, jewelry and home goods for cool kids. 
• Lander Street Vintage- an excellent vintage mall in SoDo, Reva and Nadim’s favorite. 
• Fremont Vintage Mall- Another vintage mall in the Fremont neighborhood.
• In the Comfort Of- A well curated selection of vintage homewares in the International District. 
Books
• Fantagraphics- A real Nadim store: shop for Seattle-based graphic novel publisher, Fantagraphics. Also has a record section!
• Book Larder- A real Reva store: a shop that sells only cookbooks, and also hosts cooking classes and book talks. 
• Peter Miller Architecture & Design Books- great shop with a quirky owner. Grab a copy of Peter Millers book (Lunch at the Shop: The Art and Practice of the Midday Meal) while you’re there.
• Magus Books- Floor to ceiling used bookshop that benefits from being across the street from Nadim’s old college campus. 
• Apparition Books- A sort of witchy anarchist used bookstore in Renton. Awesome vibe.
• Elliott Bay Books- Classic bookshop, a Seattle staple. If you want to look like a local, buy a tote.
